1. Performance management software becoming more widely adopted
Talentmanagement101.com recently polled over 20,000 HR professionals on the emerging trend toward implementing centralized employee performance management software. The results show that many US companies still use paper based review processes (if they have a process at all). However, many firms expect to adopt new enterprise performance management software solutions over the next 18 months. The survey polled HR professionals on the amount of time spent conducting performance reviews, what their review process is like, what solutions they currently use, and some of the best practices and roadblocks uncovered in implementing a sound performance review process. For example, the following question was acted in the survey:
Q) How many hours does the average manager spend per year per employee writing performance reviews?

2. Trends in Training Your Extended Enterprise - Partners and Customers
A survey sent to 10,000 directors of training to find out how companies are extending a learning management system (LMS) outside of their corporate walls – to partners and customers.
With the pressures of globalization and increased competition, more companies are finding it advantageous to cost-effectively reach these audiences and provide enhanced knowledge and learning, and often times training on certifications and compliance readiness. Companies find value driven by increasing partner and customer satisfaction and product usage and in many cases, decreasing support and quality costs – all in a faster, more consistent manner.
Knowing that companies are already using an LMS to reach these audiences, this survey wanted to explore more into how an LMS is used and the importance of various features for these audiences.
Q) Do you train partners and/or customers?
